Terms and conditions

The final date to be included in the competition is 31st October 2009. The Gaelic Rings/Cearcaill na Gàidhlig accepts no liability for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transmission. By entering this prize draw, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions.

The prize on offer is for vehicle and/or passenger travel on Caledonian MacBrayne ferries when undertaking Island Hopscotch 7 – 26 inclusive, up to the value of £350. 'Vehicles' include one motorised vehicle (car/motorhome/motorcycle) per prizewinner. Caravans and trailers for non commercial purposes may also be included up to the total value of £350. Travel must represent one Island Hopscotch ( No. 7 -26) within a one month period. Advance booking on certain routes is strongly recommended. See timetable for details. The ticket is also subject to the standard terms and conditions of Caledonian MacBrayne – see www.calmac.co.uk for details. The tickets are valid until 30th September 2010.

Employees of The Gaelic Rings/Cearcaill na Gàidhlig, its Partners, Agents, and their immediate family members, are excluded from entering.

Entries are restricted to those aged 18 and over.  Only one entry per person. 

The winners will be decided by the panel of The Gaelic Rings authors and notified by 30th November 2009.

No cash or other alternative prizes are available, and no cash value can be claimed in respect of portions of the prize. No credit will be issued for any monetary value remaining after the booking is made.

The names/regions of the winners will be available from The Gaelic Rings/Cearcaill na Gàihdlig from 30th November 2009. The decision of the panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

This promotion is governed by Scots law.
